Step-by-Step Instructions for Creating Different Language Versions in the System
Note: Creating different language versions in the system is a paid add-on. If you wish to add different language versions to the system, you need to contact our support team for assistance.
Article lagague versions
1. Language versions for articles can be created by opening the desired article and clicking the "Edit" button.
- A language version can be created by going to the article's content editor, selecting the "Settings" section, and clicking the "Create Language Version" button.
Select the language version to which you want to translate the article and click "OK".
- The article will open in the selected language version as the Finnish version. After that, the text sections need to be translated into English.
Homepage Menus
- Go to the system's Admin Panel
→ Homepage
→ Menus
Then, select the language version for which you want to create or modify the menus.
- Content can be added to the menus by first creating an article.
To add the article to the menu, click the "pen" icon next to the menu name. The article can be added by either searching for it in the menu or pasting its link. Finally, click "Accept".
Online Store
- Change the system's language to English.
The products in the online store will be automatically copied to the system's different language versions.
However, the products will be copied in Finnish, so their names and descriptions should be updated to the selected language, such as English.
- The system language should be set to English so that any changes made to the products will be reflected in the English version of the online store.
Similarly, when the system is set to Finnish, changes will only appear in the Finnish version of the online store.
When creating a new product in the system, it will automatically be copied to different language versions, but the product name and description must be manually updated for each language version.
- Create the desired categories, variants, sliders, and delivery methods for the English version of the online store.
When creating these, the system must be set to English to ensure that the changes are updated in the English-language online store.
