This article introduces the different triggers and actions available in the AMS tool.
AMS tool triggers
Online store purchase
Starts the automation when a customer completes a purchase in the online store.
This can be used, for example, to provide the customer with important information at the time of purchase and to deliver targeted follow-up marketing.
Example: After a purchase, the customer receives a confirmation message, additional instructions, or recommendations for related products or services.
Booking
Starts the automation when a booking is created. This can be, for example, a court booking, service booking, or personal appointment.
Example: When a customer books a massage appointment, they receive a reminder message about the booking.
Contract activation
Starts the automation when a new contract becomes active, for example when a membership starts or access rights begin.
Example: The customer receives an email about additional services and offers they are entitled to based on their membership.
Contract ending
Starts the automation when a contract ends.
Example: The customer receives a satisfaction survey and instructions for renewing their membership.
Contract termination
Starts the automation when a membership or contract is terminated.
Example: The automation removes the necessary roles and adds or removes tags from the customer.
Data collection form submission
Starts the automation when a user fills in and submits a data collection form. The automation can be targeted based on, for example, the provided email address or signature.
Example: The customer receives their first newsletter after submitting the form.
AMS tool actions
Condition
Checks whether a condition is met before the automation continues.
Example: The automation checks whether the customer is over 18 years old. If yes, the customer receives one message and the correct roles are added. If not, the automation continues along a different path.
Wait
Waits for a defined period before moving to the next step.
Example: Often, you do not want to send several messages at the same time. In this case, the wait action is used so that the next message is sent, for example, after an hour, a day, or a week.
The wait action can also be used when you want to remove a role or tag after a certain period. For example, a “warm lead” can be changed into a “cold lead” after 30 days.
Sends the selected email message to the contact.
An existing guide article can be used for creating an email template.
Push notification
Sends a notification to the mobile app.
Add tag
Adds a tag to the contact.
Example: The tag “warm lead” is added to the contact.
Remove tag
Removes a tag from the contact.
Example: The tag “newsletter subscriber” is removed from the contact.
Add role
Adds a role to the contact.
Example: The role “member” is added to the contact.
Remove role
Removes a role from the contact.
Example: The role “trial member” is removed from the contact.
