Step-by-Step Instructions on How to Set a Discount Price for an Online Store Product.
1. Navigate to the product management section of the system by selecting on the admin side:
→ Sales
→ Products
→ ProductsSearch the system for an existing product card to which you want to add a discount (or add a new product card if the product has not yet been added to the system) and click to open it by its name.
2. In the "Product Price Information" section, click on:
→ "Add Discount"
3. Complete the information related to the discount in the opened pop-up window:
Variant = Does the discount apply to all product variants or only to specific ones, such as a certain color or size
Discount type = Is the discount a specific amount in euros or a certain percentage
Discount / price = Specify the discount amount in euros or percentages.
Starting from = From what purchase quantity does the discount apply. Does it affect individual items or a larger quantity.
Bound to offer =
Starts = Schedule when the discount becomes visible in the online store.
Ends = Schedule when the discount expires in the online store and the price returns to normal.
Show original price = Select "yes" if you want the product's regular price to be displayed in addition to the discounted price in the online store.
Target group = If the discount applies only to a specific user group (e.g., members), select the role to which the discount applies from this field. Note that the discounted price, based on the target audience (i.e., roles), will be visible in the online store only to users who are logged into the system, meaning they must have an account and password for the service to access the discounted price.
Finally, click "Save."
4. If it's a contract product (e.g., membership) and you want to apply the discount to each future invoice, check the box that says "Copy discounts to contract."
5. The set discount will appear on the product card in the price information section.
Editing the Discount
If necessary, you can edit the information related to the discount on the product card in the price information section by clicking on the field containing the discount details.
Removing the Discount
If you want to disable or hide the discount before its set expiration time, you can do this by clicking on the checkbox located on the right side of the discount field.
6. Information about the product's discounted price will be visible in the online store categories where the product is displayed.
7. When you open the product in the online store, the discount will also be visible here
