Instruction - WiseSales: Reservation public and internal comment

It is now possible to add public and internal comments to inform customers or staff in the reservation calendar.

Adding the comment

1. In the upper right corner of the reservation calendar, there is a "comments" section, where you can see a list of the comments assigned to the resource for the selected day.

If there are no comments, the message: "No comments for the selected day" will appear.

After adding a comment, an i-icon will appear in the reservation calendar, which indicates that the system admin user has added a comment for the time in question.

2. When adding a comment, the resource to which the comment is added is specified.

Specify the comment text, start time and end time.

In the Public section, it can be determined whether the comment is visible publicly also to end users or only to admins.

Public: "Yes" → Visible to everyone.

Public: "No" → Visible to admins.

If Public is Yes, comment will be visible to everyone.


3. The system shows the customer and admin a comment when the booking window is opened.

When you open the reservation window, the comment set for the time is displayed.


Comment edit / delete

Select the day whose comments you want to view / edit / delete from the top of the page.

You can see all the comments added for that day by clicking on the "comments" button at the top.

Note comments can only be viewed by day, i.e. not all comments added to the system (for different days) can be seen at once. In the pop-up window that opens, you can see all the comments for that day.

Comments can be edited or deleted from the "pen" and "trash bin" icons next to the comment.

From this view, you can also add a new comment for that day, if necessary, by clicking "Add new".
