Instructions on how to set a discount price for a product in an online store.
1. Navigate to the system's product management by selecting the administration side
→ Sales
→ Products
→Products
Search for the existing product card in the system to which the discount needs to be added (or create a new product card if the product hasn't been added to the system yet) and click to open it by its name.
Note: Discounts do not apply to gift card products.
2. In the product's price information section

3. Fill in the details regarding the discount in the popup window that appears:
Variant = Does the discount apply to all product variants or only to specific colors or sizes, for example.
Discount Type = Is the discount a fixed amount off the price or a specific percentage discount.
Amount of Discount = Enter the discount amount in euros or as a percentage.
Starting from Quantity = From what quantity of purchase does the discount apply. Does it apply to individual items or larger quantities.
Starts = Set the date and time when the discount becomes visible in the online store.
Ends = Set the date and time when the discount ends and the price returns to normal.
Show List Price = Select “Yes” if you want the product's regular price to be displayed in the online store in addition to the discounted price.
Target Group = If the discount applies only to a specific user group (e.g., members), select the corresponding role from this field. Note that the discounted price based on the target group (i.e., roles) will only be visible in the online store for logged-in users. The individual must have an account and password for the service to access the discounted price.
Finally, click “Save”.
4. If it's a contract product (e.g., membership) and the discount is to be applied to every invoice in the future, check the box “Copy discounts to contract”.
5. The set discount will be visible in the product card under the price information section.
Editing the Discount
If necessary, the discount-related information can be edited from the product card's price information section by clicking on the field containing the discount details.
Removing the Discount
If you want to disable/remove the discount before its set end time, you can do this by clicking the checkbox located at the right end of the discount field.
6. The information about the product's discounted price will appear in the online store categories where the product is displayed.
7. When you click on the product in the online store, the discount will also be visible here.
