Instructions - WiseEconomy: Calculating Tax from a Document

Tax can now be calculated directly from documents, such as bank statement transactions.

1. The tax rate and tax code are set on the bank account line, after which you click "Calculate Receipt".


2. The system calculates the net price and VAT amount for the following lines.
Afterward, the tax rate and tax code on the bank account line are reset to zero.


3. Next, set the expense account and the VAT accounting account.
For the expense account, also set the applicable tax rate and tax code.
We also recommend rounding the decimal places for summary lines to a few decimals.

Finally, click "Save".
