Instructions - WiseCRM: Search Tool

The search tool is a versatile instrument that allows users to retrieve diverse contact groups from the system's database and perform various mass actions on these groups. ​​​​​​​

The operation of the search tool is based on the functionality of WiseCRM, which controls the entire system. All information related to the system's contacts is stored in the database, from which various searches can be conducted. For example, it is easy to search the system for people who have ordered a specific product, opened a newsletter, or participated in a specific event. Searches can also be conducted using company information.


1. Navigate to the search tool from the system administration side:

→ "CRM"
→ "Contacts"

Select
→ "Companies" or "Persons" based on whether you want to search for companies or individuals.


2. Click on the "Search Tools" button, located at the same place in the top of the page under both the "Companies" and "People" sections.


3. Fill in the search criteria:

  • Choose the item to be searched from the list.
  • Select a criterion from the list.
  • Enter the search term.

4. If you want to add more search criteria to the search group, press the blue + sign and fill in the search criteria. Multiple search criteria rows can be added to the search group.


5. If multiple search criteria have been added, next, determine whether all search criteria must be met or if it is sufficient for only some of the criteria to be met.

6. Once the search criteria are ready, click on "Perform Search".


7. Select the action to be performed for the retrieved target audience from the "Actions​​​​​​​" button.
