Instructions: WiseCRM - Managing Tags

Tag management can be found under CRM. In the management section, you can view tag usage, edit tags, add new tags, or delete unused ones.

Tags are keywords that help organize and manage data. Their use enhances customer management and facilitates targeted marketing.


Adding a Tag to the System's Tag Management

Many system functions require a tag to be pre-entered into the tag management before it can be added to the desired item. If you want to use tags to group, for example, online store product cards, email marketing, offers, contracts, or invoices, the desired tag must first be defined in the tag management.

In tag management, you can edit a tag's name or delete the selected tag entirely. The system shows how many times each tag has been used. Duplicate or unused tags can be easily removed, keeping everything organized.


1. Navigate to tag management by selecting "CRM" in the system's administration panel.

2. Select "Settings."

3. Choose "Tags."


4. Select "Add New."


5. Enter the tag name in the empty field.

6. Select the tag's target type from the list.

7. Click "Save."

The tag has now been added to the system.


Adding a Tag to an Item

Once a tag has been added to the tag management, you can then assign tags to the desired items.

  • Tags for individual and company contacts are set in CRM:
    • When adding a new contact
    • From the individual or company profile
    • As a bulk addition using the search tool.
  • Tags for products are set on the product cards.
  • Tags for email marketing are set when creating a new email.
  • Tags for leads are set in the sales tracking on the individual lead details.
  • Tags for offers are set in the individual offer details.
  • Tags for contracts are set in the contract details.
  • Tags for invoices are set in the basic invoice details.
