Using the CRM search tool, it's possible to add tags to person and company contacts in bulk. This makes it easy to add a tag to multiple contacts at once.
What are tags?
Tags can be considered as searchable keywords added to the system, allowing logical grouping of business and individual contacts. This helps keep the data in the system organized, enabling its full utilization. Tags serve as the foundation for creating marketing and communication target groups.
Instructions for adding tags using the search tool
1. Navigate to the search tool from the system's administrative interface by selecting "CRM."
2. Choose "Contacts."
3. Select either "Companies" or "Persons," depending on which contacts you want to add tags to.
4. On both pages, the search tool button is located in the same place at the top of the page.
- Choose the item to be searched from the list.
- Select a criterion from the list.
- Enter the search term.
6. Specify whether all search criteria must be met or if it's sufficient for only some to be met.
7. Click "Perform Search."Top of Form
8. Define the action to be performed for the searched target group from the "Actions" button.
9.Choose "Add/Remove Tags."
10. Enter the desired tag and select it from the list.
11. Click "Add."
The tag is now added to the respective contacts.
If you want to remove the tag from the listed contacts, click the "Remove" button instead of "Add."
