Instructions - WiseCRM: Adding a Tag to a Single Person or Company Contact

Adding tags to an individual person or company is done from the CRM's person or company card. If you want to set a tag for a specific contact group, it's advisable to use the CRM's search tool.

What are tags?

Tags can be considered as searchable keywords added to the system, allowing logical grouping of business and individual contacts. This helps keep the data in the system organized, enabling its full utilization. Tags serve as the foundation for creating marketing and communication target groups.


Adding a Single Tag to a Contact ​​​​​​​

Method 1: Adding a Tag During Contact Creation

You can add a single tag to a person or company while entering their details into the system.

1. Open the company or person contacts by selecting "CRM" in the system's administrative interface.
2. Choose "Contacts."

3. Select either "Companies" or "Persons."

4. Choose "Add a new contact."

5. In the opened form, enter the contact's details, and there is also a section for tags.


Method 2: Adding a Tag from the Company or Person Card

You can add a single tag to a person or company from the CRM's person or company card.

1. Open the company or person contacts by selecting "CRM" in the system's administrative interface.

2. Choose "Contacts."

3. Select either "Companies" or "Persons."

4. Find the desired contact in the system using one of the page's search fields and click on the contact you want to open.


On the opened company or person card, you can add tags.

5. Write the desired tag in the "Tags" field. If the tag already exists in the system, you can select it from the dropdown menu.


6. If the tag is not found in the system, press "Enter" or "Space" on the computer keyboard after typing the tag.

7. After adding the tags, press "Save."
