Instruction - WiseMarketing: Email Marketing, Message Content (Stage 2)

On the "Content" tab of email marketing, you can create and edit the content of the email to be sent.

Pre-existing content can be imported from homepages or article management systems. Alternatively, the content of the message can be created from scratch using the email marketing content editor.

1. Importing Pre-existing Content

When moving from the "Basic Information" tab to the "Content" tab in email marketing, the system automatically suggests options:

"Import frontpage" / "Import an article".

In a later stage, more pre-existing content can be added to the message using the "Import Content" button at the bottom. Content from multiple articles can be imported into one message.

Import frontpage

The system allows for importing the home page of a website into email marketing and sending it as a message.

The content can be edited before sending.

It is important to remember to periodically save the message if changes are made to it.

Import an article

The system allows for importing any article created in the article management system to be sent as a message through email marketing.

The content can be edited before sending.

It is important to remember to periodically save the message if changes are made to it.

2. Creating and Editing New Content

If desired, the system allows for the creation of a completely new content-rich message using the content editor on the right side.

The content editor can also be used to edit messages.

It is important to remember to periodically save the message when changes are made to it.

3. Message Preview

At any point, the message can be previewed by clicking the "Message Preview" button found at the bottom of the page.

The message appears in the preview in the form it will be seen in the recipient's email program.

4. Sending a Test Message

A test email can be sent from the email message to any desired email address.

Navigate to
→ "Message Preview"

Click on
→ "Send Test Message"

Enter the email address or addresses in the field that opens, to which the test message is to be sent.

5. Checking the Test Message

Go to the email program to which the test message was sent. Check the content, layout, and functionality of the links in the message.

Make any necessary changes to the message and save it.

If the message looks as desired in the test posting and everything works, you can proceed to the next stage (Stage 3. Recipients).
