The accountmap is defined in the accounting settings.
You can view and edit the chart of accounts by selecting:
→ Economy
→ Accoutancy
→ Accountmap
The chart of accounts is defined according to the standard so that it displays information both by account groups and individual accounts.
In WiseEconomy, companies use the Business Bookkeeper chart of accounts, while associations use the Association Bookkeeper chart of accounts.
To display the entire chart of accounts, click on the "gear" icon in the top right corner of the page and select "Expand all."
In the financial statements or as an attachment to them, you may want a list of only the accounts used in the chart of accounts or the accounts displayed in it.

In the opened window, you fill in the information regarding the new account group.
From the drop-down menu "Parent Header," select under which header the new account group will be placed.
In the "Number" field, enter the number of the new account group (usually three digits), and in the "Header" field, provide the name of the new account group.
Once the information is entered, click the green "Save"- button.
In the window that opens, fill in the information for the new bookkeeping account.
From the dropdown menu "Account title," select under which title the new account will be placed in the chart of accounts.
In the "Account number" field, enter the number of the new account (usually 4-5 digits).
From the "Tax code" dropdown menu, select the tax treatment for the bookkeeping account (for example, choose "Domestic purchase" for taxable domestic purchases).
In the "Account name" field, enter the name of the new bookkeeping account.
In the "Posting instructions" field, you can enter posting instructions related to this account.
Once the information is entered, click the green "Save" -button.
Editing an Account
The chart of accounts view can be expanded manually using the plus sign (+) and similarly, accounts can be collapsed using the minus sign (-).
To edit the details of a desired account or account group, click on the account name. Clicking the name opens a new window, which is similar to the window used for adding a new account group or a new bookkeeping account.
In the window, edit the necessary information, then click the green "Save" button.
Adding Multiple Accounts
Multiple accounts can be added under the same title at once by selecting "Add multiple accounts."
In the window that opens, select from the dropdown menu "Account title" under which title the accounts will appear on the balance sheet or income statement.
In the "Account number" field, enter the numbers of the new bookkeeping accounts, in the "Tax code" field, enter the VAT treatment of the account, and in the "Account name" field, enter the names of the new bookkeeping accounts.
Use the "Add row" button to add more rows if even more new bookkeeping accounts are needed under the same title.
Once the information is filled in, save the details by clicking the green "Save" button.
