Instruction - WiseCRM: Changing User Account Username

Username may need to be changed, for example, if a customer's email address changes.

Instruction: Changing User Account Username

1. From the system administration side, follow these steps:

→ "CRM"
→ "Contacts"
→ "Persons"


Locate the desired person in the system and click on the person's card to open it.


2. On the "Person" tab, find the heading "User Information," and underneath it, locate the section "Username."

Change the email address to the one desired by the customer and click "Save."


3. If necessary, also update the new email address in the person's contact information.

Click "Save."


4. Ask the customer to log out of their account and log in again with the new username.
