In the system, a webshop feature refers to product cards from the webshop that are linked to the homepage.
Individual product cards created in product management can be featured in homepage articles to showcase the webshop's product selection. These features, made through the content editor in article management, are called webshop features.
Creating a Webshop Feature
1. Before a webshop product can be featured on the homepage, the respective product card must be created in product management (Sales → Products → Products), and the product card must be set to visible (Visible: Yes).
2. To create the actual webshop feature on the homepage, navigate to the desired article and enter edit mode by clicking the "Edit" button on the page.
3. From the content editor on the right, select the "Webshop feature" element either by dragging it to the desired location on the page or by clicking it, which will place it at the bottom of the page.
4. Click the "pen" icon found on the "webshop feature" element, which will open the "settings" window on the right side.
5. Search for the desired product card in the system by typing the product card name or part of the name in the search field.
6. If variants of the product (e.g., different color options) have been added to the product card with differing prices, checking the "show up to price" option will display the highest variant price in the product feature.
7. In the "Set button text" section, you can optionally set custom text for the button displayed in the product feature. By default, the button reads "Shop Now".
8. Remember to save any changes made in the "Settings" window by clicking the "Save" button visible within the window.
9. Afterward, click "Publish" on the article as usual. The product feature will then be visible on the homepage, making it easy to navigate to the webshop and purchase the product.
