For products being sold, it's important to remember to set up the accounting account, pricing information, and tax class.
The accounting account, pricing information, and tax class for the products being sold are all set from the same place, which is the product management section.
1. Navigate to the administrative side of the system and open the product card listing by selecting:
→ “Sales”
→ “Products”
→ “Products”
2. Open an existing product card by clicking on the product's name and make the desired changes to it.
Or
Adding a new product to the system and creating its own product card.
To add a new product:
→ “Add product.”
- Write down the product name.
- Select the product type.
- Click
→ “Add product.”
The system opens a new product card where information can be entered.
Setting up the accounting account for the product.
When a customer uses WisePlatform's financial management tools, it's important to set up an accounting account for the product, where all sales of that product are directed. If the accounting account is missing, sales receipts will be incomplete.
The product sales price is set from the system's administration panel by selection.
→ “Sales”
→ “Products”
→ “Products”
Open the desired product card from the system or create a new one.
On the product card, there is a section labeled 'accounting.' Click on the displayed company name within it.
The desired accounting account can be added by first clicking the company's name, and then searching for the desired accounting account by its name or number.
Remember to save the changes by clicking the “Save” -button.
The product's sales price is set from the system's administration panel by selection.
→ “Sales”
→ “Products”
→ “Products”
Open the desired product card from the system or create a new one.
On the product card, there is a section labeled “price information”. Set the product's price in the “sales price” -field.
For instance, when the inclusive sales price and tax category are added, the system automatically calculates the net price for the product.
